How is DEUX different from a planner or decorator?

Traditional interior designers and wedding planners often handle full-scale layouts, construction details, and vendor management. That’s not what DEUX is. My approach is styling-first: giving you a curated palette, mockups, and sourcing so you can see how everything works together before you commit.

Think of it as taking the guesswork out — no more wasting time and money on pieces or details that don’t actually fit the vibe. Instead, you walk away with a clear, styled direction that feels intentional and true to you, without the overwhelm (or the huge price tag).

How does this work?

Once you book your package, you’ll receive a form to fill out with details like your Pinterest inspo, photos, and vision. From there, we’ll schedule a virtual project kickoff call to talk through your goals.

A few weeks later, we’ll have a second virtual call where I present your Style File — your custom moodboard, palette, styling notes, and concept images.

If you’d like a revision, I’ll complete that within one week of our presentation call. Once revisions are finalized, I’ll email you your finished Style File for you to keep.

What is the DEUX style?

DEUX blends modern minimalism with organic textures and the polish of a luxury hotel. The look is clean and current, but always warm, soulful, and lived-in. I lean into sculptural florals, natural materials, and thoughtful details that feel chic without being overdone.

Every project is shaped through the DEUX lens, but always tailored to reflect your personal vision.

What is a Style File?

Your Style File is the final deliverable you receive from DEUX. It’s a polished digital presentation that brings together all of the visual elements of your project — moodboard, palette, textures, styling notes, and collages. Think of it as your creative blueprint: a guide you can reference again and again to bring the vision to life.

Do you design florals, stationery, or invitations?

Nope 🌸✉️ I’m not a florist or stationer. But I do guide the look and feel — the palette, finishes, textures — so your vendors know exactly what direction to take.

Is this for my whole home or just one room?

The Styled Interiors package applies to one room at a time. If you’d like multiple rooms styled, you can book additional packages for each space.

Do you handle remodels or renovations?

No — DEUX focuses on styling and furnishings, not construction. I may suggest new furniture layouts for flexible rooms (like living rooms or bedrooms), but I don’t redesign fixed layouts such as kitchens, bathrooms, or built-in spaces.

Do you work within my budget?

Yes — for interiors, sourcing is tailored to your budget range. For gatherings, budget isn’t considered (since I focus on aesthetic direction rather than vendor quotes).

When I consider budget, I focus on styling elements — furniture, décor, lighting, and accessories. Costs for flooring, tile, cabinetry, or paint aren’t included, since those fall under remodel work.

How long does it take to get my Style File?

Typically 2–3 weeks, depending on scope. You’ll have one alignment call at the start, time for a revision, and a final presentation call when it’s ready.
