FAQs

i help you cut through the noise and bring clarity to your vision. instead of second-guessing, you’ll have a cohesive direction for your palette, details, and overall look. everything feels intentional and connected, so you and/or your vendors can confidently bring it to life.

DEUX isn't a planner, decorator, or full-service designer. my role is to create the visual direction for your space or event before you start purchasing, styling, or working with vendors.
think of it as taking the guesswork out — no more wasting time and money on pieces or details that don’t actually fit the vibe. instead, you walk away with a clear, styled direction that feels intentional and true to you, without the overwhelm (or the huge price tag).

once you book your package, you’ll be emailed a form to fill out with details like your pinterest inspo, photos, and vision.
a few weeks later, you'll receive your custom style file — a polished digital guide complete with concept visuals, palette, textures, styling notes, and recommendations tailored to your project.

DEUX blends modern minimalism with warmth, texture, and a quiet editorial edge. inspired by boutique hotels and european interiors, the look feels clean yet lived-in — layered with sculptural forms, natural materials, and refined details that never feel excessive.
every project is shaped through the DEUX lens, but always tailored to reflect your personal vision.
-
your style file is the final deliverable you receive from DEUX. it’s a polished digital presentation that brings together all of the visual elements of your project — moodboard, palette, textures, styling notes, and collages. think of it as your creative blueprint: a guide you can reference again and again to bring the vision to life.

for interiors, sourcing is tailored to your budget range. when i consider budget, i focus on styling elements — furniture, décor, lighting, and accessories. costs for flooring, tile, cabinetry, or paint aren’t included, since those fall under remodel work.
for celebrations, i focus on the overall aesthetic direction rather than vendor-specific pricing. this gives you and your vendors flexibility to execute the vision at a budget that works for you.
-
no. my recommendations are based on what best fits your space, style, and budget — not commissions. my goal is to create the strongest overall vision for your project, whether that's through retail finds, vintage pieces, or items you already own.
-
nope, i’m not a florist or stationer. but i do guide the look and feel — the palette, finishes, textures — so your vendors know exactly what direction to take.
-
the interior packages apply to one room at a time. if you’d like multiple rooms styled, you can book additional packages for each space.
-
no — DEUX focuses on styling and furnishings, not construction. i may suggest new furniture layouts for flexible rooms (like living rooms or bedrooms), but i don’t redesign fixed layouts such as kitchens, bathrooms, or built-in spaces.
-
not at all. think of the style file as a roadmap. you can implement the recommendations all at once or gradually over time, prioritizing what feels right for your space, event, and budget.
